It’s always sunny in Philadelphia! I couldn’t resist 😛 But enough with the corny jokes, recently I had the pleasure of taking a mini road trip out to Philadelphia to capture some engagement photos for Justine & Justin! We trekked all throughout Philadelphia from Center City to Old City and a bunch of spots in between. Along the way we got some awesome photos of this awesome couple… Let’s get started!
We opened up the day at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and got some beautiful morning light shots among the famous steps and pillars of the museum. These two absolutely made the most of the awesome light and warmth we were fortunate enough to get that day. Justine & Justin brought their A game right from the start and we got some beautiful shots filled with laughter and love on a gorgeous Philly morning…
After we wrapped up capturing shots at the museum we made our way along the Schuylkill River. Along the way we got some beautiful shots with the sun peaking over the museum, some creative shots along the river at the Philadelphia Water Works, before finally capturing Justine & Justin amongst the vibrant textures and colors of the historic houses on Boathouse Row…
At this point in the journey we’d had a pretty fantastic day but we kept on working our way towards the narrow streets and historic brownstones of Old City. Along the way we found some fantastic photo ops amongst the narrow streets and cobblestone alleyways of Old City and made sure to take full advantage of the landscape of this historic section of Philadelphia…
With Old City behind us we made our way towards our final stops along the Delaware River where we captured some gorgeous shots at Race Street Pier with the Ben Franklin Bridge and the surrounding pier warehouses offering up some fantastic backdrops for this awesome couple! All in all, we had a amazing day of shooting amongst the beauty of Philadelphia… it was a day filled with beautiful images of an awesome couple and gives a glimpse of what’s to come at Justine & Justin’s wedding this winter in Pittsburgh!
